How amazing would it be to be in the water ......surfing with dolphins!
I
swam with dolphins off the coast of Wilmington, NC. There were about 12
baby dolphins as well. The adults kept themselves between me and their
babies, protecting them. I COULD HAVE reached out and petted the adults
as I swam with them but I was too big of
a chicken and I didn't want to frighten them or give them any reason to
leave. After all, I was on their 'turf',lol. It was one of the most
amazing experiences in my life to be this close to wild and free
creatures of extreme intelligence and compassion. ;-)))
they must've had their jaws dropped to the bottom of the sand
That's the thing about dolphins, they're so smart they like to play, like dogs or cats. If we lived in the water, they'd be our dogs or cats. Good for them, we don't.
If we were in the water, we would be their pets - they'd be ahead of the game as mammals by ... I dunno... tens of millions of years :)
