Been watching their antics on the TV series (being shown in UK) "Wildest India". It's no wonder they are revered! And it is lovely the way the Hindu people look after them and other animals out there, chasing them away but not harming them :-) There is even a temple dedicated to the humble rat. Beautiful ♥
